Skin & Bone

In yet another collaboration with director Eli Powers (Baby Watch, Holy Moses), Ruby composed original music and lyrics for the American southern-gothic horror short Skin & Bone which premiered at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival. Both her songs are performed in the film by Academy Award Nominee and Emmy Award Winner Amanda Seyfried (Mank, The Dropout). Inspired by the folk murder ballads of Appalachia and composed for the banjo, Wolf’s music underscores protagonist Christian’s (Thomas Sadoski) slow descent into violent madness as he finds himself taken in by the spell of Serene (Seyfried) and her music.
